2022 was the 21st year this was held. It is always a very enjoyable, relaxed time with good food, wine and Old Cranleighan company.

The only criteria for attending is that you must be at least 70 on the day the event takes place (usually a Saturday in late October)

Wives are very much welcome, and any member of the family who may be needed to help with driving you to the School. It’s an opportunity to renew old friendships and to keep up to date with all the many changes at Cranleigh.

The programme is loosely: coffee or pre lunch drinks in the Reading Room from 11.30am and then a Buffet Lunch takes place in the Dining Hall (with wine).

Mike Payne acts as guide for a School tour after lunch for those who would like, which is followed by Tea back in the Reading Room.

The cost of the day, including all food and drinks, is just £25 per person. It has been agreed by the School and the Society that this will go to the Cranleigh Foundation Bursary Fund. Bursaries are given discreetly by the Foundation to children who have experienced a family trauma or bereavement and whom the Foundation judges would benefit from a boarding education in the School's supportive environment. We invite you to increase your £25 donation by as much as you feel able to.
