17th OVER 70s' REUNION – Sunday 7 May 2017 at School
 
I hope you will join us at this year’s Reunion. It will be as always, a very enjoyable, relaxed time with good food, wine and Cranleighan company.  What more could you ask for?
 
Wives are very much welcome, and any member of the family who may be needed to help with driving you to the School.  It’s an opportunity to renew old friendships, meet the Hewadmaster, and to keep up to date with all the many changes at Cranleigh. 
 
Those of you who played sport at Thames Ditton will know me but there are many who will not and I will enjoy meeting you. I hope that I will be able to welcome many more of my generation to renew friendships. You must though be at least 70 on 7 May 2017! 
 
The date has been publicised through the Cranleigh magazines but you will understand, I am sure, that this notification will not reach everyone although it will be sent to all the relevant email addresses on our database. So the incentive is to let us know your email address if you haven’t already done so.  If you have friends who have not been notified do please encourage them to join us.
 
The programme will follow last year: From 11.30 am - Coffee in the Speech Hall.    From 12.15 pm - Bar in the Speech Hall. 1.00 pm Buffet Lunch in the Dining Hall (with wine).
 
By popular demand Mike Payne will be the guide for a School tour after lunch which will be followed by Tea in the Reading Room.
 
The cost of the day, including all food and drinks, will be just £15 per person.  It has been agreed by the School and the Society that this will go to the Cranleigh Foundation Bursary Fund. Bursaries are given discreetly by the Foundation to children who have experienced a family trauma or bereavement and whom the Foundation judges would benefit from a boarding education in the School's supportive environment.  We invite you to increase your £15 donation by as much as you feel able to.
