We’re living in unprecedented times and sport is one of the sectors that’s been hit hardest by COVID-19. The impact of sport coming to a complete halt is and will continue to be, far-reaching and long lasting not only for the clubs, but for the organisations, businesses and institutions involved with them too.
Sport can contribute immensely to improving people's physical and psychological health and has the power to change lives and bring communities together. It also provides other disciplines that give young people a sense of belonging and support. It has proven to be an effective tool in keeping youths from falling into a cycle of anti-social behaviour, violence, crime and drug use.
However, grassroots clubs were already facing increasing costs and a lack of resources, even before this crisis – it’s now vital that we all do everything possible to help each other and keep these clubs solvent and stable during the pandemic.
We would like to ask whether you can please help us in supporting our grassroot sports communities by promoting us and our platform to businesses that would potentially be interested in engaging with our clubs and building mutually beneficial partnership deals?
We see it as vitally important that now, more than ever, businesses find ways to engage locally and with the community. SNAP’s online platform can provide local, regional and national investment opportunities, supporting businesses who wish to promote their products and services in a cost-effective way as they bounce back from COVID-19.
Usually our online platform is a membership site which charges a monthly subscription. We’re currently offering full free-of-charge access to our portal by using the promo code NOMONTHLYFEE, to all involved in grassroot sport to enable them to build mutual partnerships and support each other during these difficult times. This free access will remain in place until the 30th Sept 2020. By facilitating this networking opportunity, clubs can now start looking for sponsorship whilst they have some down-time, to ensure financial stability in the future. Anyone interested in engaging with our members, can do so for free on our website at: http://bit.ly/2TB5LaA.
Do feel free to get in touch if you have any questions or would like any further information.
In the meantime, I wish you continued success during these difficult and challenging times.
Best wishes,
Mark Covington
