Despite a few threatening clouds, the weather held out long enough for everyone to enjoy a wonderful day of reunion and celebration.
Although this year’s OC Day took place separately from Speech Day the occasion retained its familiar format. Guests gathered for drinks in the Quad before attending a service in the Chapel, followed by a superb lunch in Hall for those celebrating their decade reunions. Many also enjoyed a tour of the School, revisiting favourite places and seeing how Cranleigh continues to evolve.
A new addition to the day proved especially popular: a fabulous match tea served on Jubilee while guests watched Cranleigh’s 1st and 2nd Cricket XI teams take on Epsom. With families and friends gathered around the boundary, it provided the perfect setting to continue conversations and enjoy the spirit of the afternoon.
Throughout the day there was a genuine sense of warmth and happiness as old friends reunited and memories were shared. It was particularly special to see so many members of the 2016 leavers’ cohort returning for their decade reunion, alongside a new generation of young children enjoying the occasion on Jubilee.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make OC Day 2026 such a memorable occasion.
