Richard Hume (2 North, 1995-2000) now a resident of Australia, has built and opened a Sports/adventure retreat.

He has built state of the art, en-suite glamping accommodation, where you can experience good food, peaceful surroundings and professional training in different environments with different levels of equipment. An unique concept in Australia, its about finding your inner self and going back to basics.

"It was a massive risk under-taking such a large project, on foreign soil, learning new regulations, work ethics and new products, but I knew what I wanted in the end. I wanted to create an environment where you get to enjoy nature and everything it brings but also learn new training techniques and ideas that will hopefully leave you inspired and motivated to live a happier, healthier lifestyle. Its not about yoga and meditation, its about good old fashioned hard work with alittle bit of pampering"

In Australia there is a gap in the market, "its all about day spas and massages in Australia, or the other extreme with fat camps and boot camps, for me its the middle ground, a place to work hard but enjoy a few of the finer things in life. Not only that, but a place where the lifestyle and food can be replicated back at home".

So, if you are ever in Australia, and want a place to Re-boot, Rejuvenate and Re-energise, consider Challenge Chaser Retreat. If you tell Richard of the OC link, he would love to have you to come and stay and will give you a 20% discount.
